Felix Haircare

How hair transplants actually work: the difference between FUE, DHI and FUT, who they suit, and the year-long wait for the result to grow in.
A hair transplant, from the day of surgery to the result a year on.

Contact

I read everything that comes in. If you are weighing up a hair transplant or waiting out the slow months after one, I would like to hear from you.

How to reach me

The postal address is a shared workspace, not a clinic. There is nobody there to examine you.

What I can help with

  • Pointing you to the right article on FUE, DHI or FUT, candidacy, graft numbers or the growth timeline
  • Sharing what my own procedure and the year afterwards were actually like
  • Correcting anything on the site you think is wrong
  • General, non-clinical questions about the process

What I cannot help with

  • Telling you whether you are a good candidate
  • Estimating how many grafts you need or judging your donor area
  • Recommending a clinic, a surgeon or a country
  • Anything that only an in-person consultation with a qualified surgeon can decide

Please do not send

I am a patient, not your doctor, and ordinary email is not secure. So please do not send photographs of your scalp, your medical history, or the dates of any planned surgery. I cannot assess them, I should not hold them, and they belong with the surgeon who is actually treating you.

In an emergency

If you have heavy bleeding, spreading redness, a high fever, severe pain or any sign of infection after a procedure, this site cannot help you. Contact your surgeon or clinic straight away, call your local emergency number, or go to your nearest emergency department.
